About the Logo

PWR TRP, an alias used by Austin-based DJ Luis Keetley, mixes a variety of electro genres with a twist of rock, hip-hip hop, and pop ranging over decades.

We wanted to capture electric energy, utilizing a spectrum of vivid colors, while creating a grungey texture that felt very sleek. It was important to stand out amongst other DJ logos in a crowded and busy nightlife. I used classic CMYK values to give a retro ‘throwback’ feel. And a destructive tear effect that gives visual vibration and movement.
